  Thallus off-white to pale fawn, smooth, glossy. Ascomata numerous, conspicuous, raised, irregularly branched, 2–4 mm long, c. 0.1 mm wide, with a distinct thalline margin; lips closed. Proper exciple ±completely carbonised. Hymenium 125–175 µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 6–8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, 9–14 (–16)-locular, 50–70 (–90) × 10–12 µm, I+ blue.
CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid.
     
  An uncommon, corticolous species in south-eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.; endemic.
